HorseLords is an organization that promotes confidence when riding out on the trail or the back country. We offer horse clinics where the rider goes through / over obstacles to gain confidence. We specialize in a "Trail Safe" course where the rider learns techniques in self defense from horseback. All clinics are taught by or managed by ex or current Mounted Police Officers who have gone through years of training and certifications.

We offer three horse clinic options. The first is a full day clinic with half the day working on confidence in riding using man made obstacles. Sensory training is added into the clinic including the firing of blanks. The other half is self defense from horseback. The rider will learn self defense techniques taught to mounted police officers.
The second clinic option includes horsemanship, blanks and the self defense portion only. Riders will have more opportunity to practice the techniques presented and spend more in-depth time with the instructors.
The third clinic is our beginner clinic. We cover many beginner topics and cater to our students needs. This clinic can cover everything from how to tie your horse off to learning the basics of posting. It depends on the riders. This is typically only a half day clinic. 2
Please go to our photo gallery or our Facebook page (Horselords) to look at videos and pictures of folks participating in our clinics.
All riders supply their own horse. (Horse rental is available in some clinics and is limited)
" Hey saddle sisters I took this clinic months ago and it was fantastic. Worth every penny. If you can make it go. I'll go again when closer to Peoria and cooler weather." Lisa Miller
Believe it or not, we have riders who come through our clinics who have been attacked, know someone who has been attacked or has had to deal with a rude and unhappy person on the trail. Trail riders are experiencing people who are living on the trail or out of RV's in the back county more and more. Razors and other off road motorized vehicles are becoming more prevalent. As a rider you may experience people simply target practicing or hunting. Is your horse prepared for a big bang? Are you? HorseLords can't cover everything in one clinic but we give you some powerful basic principles to take home with you. We hope you keep them in mind and practice them. We want you to be "Trail Safe".

We travel throughout Arizona with our clinics. Typically we have groups who have a venue (arena) and would like to have have us come out. We work with you on price and how many riders we need to make it happen. The host then can add onto the fee as needed. We also have an auditing fee where a percentage can go to the host. All hosts ride for free of course.
If you are not in Arizona and think our clinic would be beneficial to your area or riding group, we will come out. We need you to provide the venue, use of a demo horse, and promote participants. We have to build travel and lodging into the price and can only offer the "Trail Safe" clinic. If you have obstacles at your venue that you or your group use and would like our input, we are happy to give it! Any offer for transportation, or lodging can help keep the price down. (If you have interest in this, please contact David Claridge directly at 480-980-3558)
